I tried to post more emails that I copied from another site, and I think they are being blocked, I received no confirmation thru my email....let's see if this one goes thru???

37. #33 - Locking themselves in a cage would be a good thing!!! If they went around farting! Who wants to smell their farts and watch them eat, of course, the media would love that ! And you are right publicity would come from caging, maybe there motives for that would be not adopting leaves orphans in cages of orphanages. There is a method to their maddness of why they are constantly in the news. Why is it that people like Bruce Springsteen or Bon Jovi can keep their children out of the spotlight while this patchwork not sewn in holy matrimony seems to thrive on attention.

38. First off, that puppy is adorable.

Second off, human aggression and dog aggression are two different things. It is true that most pits are animal aggressive, meaning they will attack another animal but this is because of a high prey drive that is in their genetics. Pit Bulls, American Bulldogs, whatever, are not to have human aggression. That is not tolerated within the pit bull world. Pit Bulls are actually the best dogs to have around children because they are so resilient to everything/anything that is done to them, they remain loyal, friendly and loving. They adore children. Mine will roll over on the sidewalk as a child approaching praying she'll get a free belly rub.

Thirdly, IF and I say IF because it is not known yet, that Brad and Angelina did get one of "Vicks Dogs" then I applaud them. As long as the dog was properly tempermented tested and is trained, unless the pup has bad genetics (Which can not be tested for) then that pup deserves as much of a chance at a happy life as the next pup.

And another thing, I guess "Fourthly", most of the pit bull attacks that are heard of/read about now is do to ignorance and common stupidity of their owners. It is because the owner was blind on seeing the "red flags" that are shown, didn't train or treat the dog correctly, or was just neglectful of the situation as a whole.

In South Carolina, there was an incident of a little boy that was brutally attacked by a pit bull. Want to know why? Because the mother left the dog locked in a tiny sink-room/utility room and left the house of 3-4 children under the age of 6 in the care of a 14 year old who was dealthy afraid of dogs. The dog chased this girl upstairs, because another child let it out to "play with the babysitter", and somehow the little boy was attacked. However, it was judged that it was not because of the dog or the babysitter but because of the neglectful mother in this situation that the little boy died.

There are so many stories that come down to the parents/owners as being irresponsible and thats the reason why there are so many "pit-bull attacks". However, other breeds attack almost as often as pits but it never reaches the media because it's not the current hype.

Pitbulls and their owners are being subjected to a type of racism. 10 years ago, it was the rottweilers, before that german shepards and so on.

I must say, currently I own a 16 month old American Staffordshire Terrier and she is the greatest thing in my life right now. She's a loyal, loving, clown. And yes, an American Staffordshire Terrier is a pit bull.

And the term "pit bull" a term used as grouping of 3 different types of dog. American Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, and the American Bull Terrier.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do research before judging. These dogs are fantastic creatures and do not deserve the negative attention they have been receiving.

39. It's TRUE.... this is not a PIT-BULL. It's an American Bulldog. Often mistaken for pit-bulls. I don't think Brad and Angie are that stupid.......

45. Aww, what a cutie that pup is. Pits aren't necessarily bad for homes with children. Depending on the dog's bloodline, it should be ok. Every pit I've dealt have all been sweethearts. It's those little dogs I always get bitten by.
